Until she was caught by the police, he thought that she and Dimpy were IAS officers.

During the Taliban attacks in Afghanistan in 2017, more than 26 lakh Afghan citizens went as refugees to various countries. Many also came to India. They settled in Delhi, Noida, Hyderabad. Ashraf has 3 brothers and 1 sister. When Ashraf's family was displaced in 2017, his mother and two brothers went to Pakistan. When Ashraf came to India, one brother was killed in Afghanistan. After some time, his mother and one brother returned to Afghanistan from Pakistan. One brother, Geelani, stayed in Pakistan. Ashraf's sister is in Finland. Ashraf's mobile is being investigated by the forensic department. Ashraf lives in a 3-room flat in Jangpura area of ​​Delhi for a rent of Rs 12,000. Ashraf, who is poorly educated, sets up a stall selling dry fruits at exhibitions across the country. In 2024, he also set up a stall at an exhibition at the SFS ground in the city. That's where he met Kalpana. At that time, Kalpana told him that she was an IAS officer. Kalpana and Dimpy were introduced at Dhirendra Shastri's speech.
